By downloading or using the Mowzoon app or this website, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Mowzoon. “Mowzoon”, “we” and “us” mean the team that provides the app and mawzun.site.
What Mowzoon is
Mowzoon is a personal finance app that helps you record expenses, plan budgets around your salary cycle, keep track of recurring bills and saving goals, scan receipts and get insights with the help of artificial intelligence. It is a tool for organizing your own money. It is not a bank, does not hold or move money, and does not connect to your bank accounts.
Not financial advice
Figures such as “safe to spend today”, forecasts, budget suggestions and AI insights are estimates based on the information you enter. They are not financial, investment, tax or legal advice. You remain responsible for your financial decisions.
Who can use Mowzoon
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and able to enter into a binding agreement. You may use Mowzoon only for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.
Your account
You can use Mowzoon without an account. If you sign in, keep your sign-in details safe and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Free plan and Mowzoon Pro
Free plan
The Free plan includes expense tracking and budgets, 10 receipt scans and 15 AI actions each month, and up to 3 recurring bills. Monthly allowances reset at the start of each month. We may change these allowances; we will show the current ones in the app.
Mowzoon Pro
Mowzoon Pro is an optional subscription, billed monthly or yearly, that adds unlimited receipt scans and recurring bills, much more AI use and cloud backup. Pro AI use is generous but subject to fair use, so the service stays fast and reliable for everyone; if you reach the fair-use level in a month, AI features pause until the next month.
Billing, renewal and cancellation
- Subscriptions are bought and billed through Google Play or the App Store, in the currency and at the price shown to you by the store.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. You can cancel at any time in your Google Play or App Store subscription settings; Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
- Introductory or launch offers are available only when the store shows them to you, usually for new subscribers, and renew at the regular price afterwards.
- Refunds are handled by Google Play or Apple under their refund policies.
- If a price changes, the store will notify you as its rules require before the new price applies.
- Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription — cancel it in the store.
AI features
Talk to Mowzoon, AI Insights, the AI Budget Builder and smart receipt read use artificial intelligence. AI can misunderstand you or make mistakes, so please check its answers and the details it reads from receipts. When the AI proposes or makes a change — such as adding an expense or setting a limit — the app shows it to you and lets you undo it. You are responsible for the changes you keep.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse Mowzoon, including by:
- trying to get around plan limits, fair use or purchase verification;
- reverse-engineering, copying or reselling the app, or accessing our servers other than through the app;
- sending content that is unlawful or harmful, or trying to make the AI features produce such content;
- interfering with the security or operation of the service, or with other people’s use of it.
Your content and data
The information you add to Mowzoon is yours. You allow us to process it only as needed to provide the features you use, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for keeping your own copies — data stored only on your phone can be lost if the phone is lost or the app is removed, unless you use cloud backup.
Third-party services
Mowzoon relies on services from other companies, including Google Play, the App Store, Firebase Authentication and OpenAI. Your use of those stores is also subject to their own terms.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Mowzoon available and accurate, but features that need the internet — such as AI, backup and purchase verification — may sometimes be unavailable. We may add, change or remove features over time. If we remove something important that Pro subscribers pay for, we will let you know in advance.
Disclaimers
To the extent the law allows, Mowzoon is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including that it will be error-free, that calculations, forecasts or AI output will be accurate, or that it will meet a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for financial decisions you make using the app. Our total liability to you for any claim about Mowzoon is limited to the amount you paid for Mowzoon Pro in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.
Ending your use
You can stop using Mowzoon at any time and delete your account. We may suspend or end access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, after telling you where appropriate.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the country where Mowzoon’s operator is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and without taking away protections that the law of the country where you live gives you as a consumer.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and, for important changes, let you know in the app or on this website before they take effect. If you keep using Mowzoon after that, the updated terms apply.
